My mother was diagnosed with metastatic small cell lung cancer. She has undergone tests and treatments began this week with him. I know they will be limited in stage 3 and stage. Please, any information they could give him would be great to have seen some information but I hope, I think it looks better than I do. We have not yet achieved all that the results will again this Friday. But I thank you for all the help.

Small cell is best treated with chemotherapy for aggressive management. If your mother can finish chemotherapy, radiation therapy is administered.

Although every person is different, the survival rate after five years is very low. I know that cancer is stressful for patients and their families, but try to do our best to help you relax. It is also a good idea that your environment as clean as possible to prevent an infection. Your immune system is compromised.

My mother had small cells, but it was in poor condition before being diagnosed at the age of 77 years. My oncologist was surprised, not that they respond better to treatment.

I understand what happened. I will think of her and sending good thoughts their way. Good luck to you. Please tell us how you're doing.
